Basque Genitive Case and Multiple Checking

In this article I propose (a) that Basque genitive structural case is checked in the functional projection possessive (or possessor as proposed by De Wit (1997) and others based on pioneering work by Szabolcsi); and (b) that this functional projection allows both subject and object to check case simultaneously in a multiple specifier configuration.
